A food and wine tasting with culinary creations prepared by Chef Steve Marti and John Giannini.

Featuring an expert wine tour guide flying in directly from Italy: Andrea Di Properzio will educate and enlighten us on food and wine from the Abruzzo region.

FIRST COURSE

– Grilled local aspargus with grape tomatoes, mixed field greens, and gorgonzola drizzled with a lemon and extra virgin olive oil dressing

– Homemade wild boar ragú served with abruzzese gemeli pasta

WINE: La Valentina Montepulciano d Abruzzo

INTERMEZZO

A palate cleansing of fresh sorbet

– Wood grilled baby rack of lamb served with soft polenta and garlic rapini

WINE: La Valentina Spelt (single vineyard montepulciano)

– Nonna Silvia’s 100 year old recipe of assorted homemade cookies made by Chef Steve’s Mom
